Job description

Make impact. Be human. Stay curious.

Who we are

AI is transforming the world – and we’re just getting started. With data growing exponentially, the need for smart, impact-driven minds has never been greater. At Rewire, we don’t just follow trends in data & AI – we shape them.

We’re on a mission to grow Rewire’s business by leaps and bounds, and we’re looking for a Working Student – Compliance to help safeguard our growth and ensure we build on a solid foundation. Our Compliance team plays a central role in protecting Rewire’s business, covering risk, security, privacy, and more. With a team of ten experts, we make sure that Rewire grows responsibly and sustainably.

You’ll gain hands-on experience in compliance, help drive a project to simplify and streamline our compliance framework and control set, and contribute to policy development and diverse legal and regulatory challenges. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a concrete project that will have a lasting impact on how we embed compliance in the business.

Be part of a dynamic team of data & AI talents who tackle meaningful challenges – from building smart solutions to ensuring responsible growth – and have fun along the way. Wanna join the ride?

Where you’ll make a difference

  • Run a key project – take the lead in simplifying and improving our compliance framework and control set, making it easier for the business to understand, adopt, and apply

  • Support compliance education – help maintain and update policies, and ensure employees understand and apply them correctly

  • Tackle diverse compliance challenges – handle new (legal) issues arising every week

  • Take ownership – work independently while bringing in your own vision and ideas

What makes us the right choice for you

  • Learn and grow in compliance – gain hands-on experience in a corporate environment while supporting real regulatory and legal projects

  • Thrive in a culture that values autonomy, curiosity, and bold thinking – where your voice matters, ideas turn into action, and your impact is genuinely recognized and rewarded

  • Step into a role where your studies meet real impact – contribute ideas to compliance initiatives and help shape responsible practices around data & AI

  • Benefit from personal coaching – receive regular guidance and feedback from experienced professionals who are committed to your growth

  • Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team that’s ambitious, collaborative, and just the right amount of nerdy – where learning and laughter go hand in hand

  • Enjoy a competitive salary and attractive benefits – because every role deserves fair pay and genuine appreciation

  • Look ahead with strong future prospects – take the opportunity to grow into a full-time role after your studies and kick-start your career

Job requirements

What makes you shine

You’re a motivated problem solver and a curious learner – with a passion for turning legal and regulatory knowledge into real business impact. You’ll thrive with us if you bring:

  • A strong academic foundation – you’re currently in your 3rd year or beyond of a (Dutch) Law, Business Administration or Finance Bachelor’s or Master’s program with excellent results

  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail – you enjoy working on complex legal and compliance challenges, analyzing regulations, identifying risks, and supporting risk assessments

  • A hands-on, growth mindset – you take initiative, embrace challenges, and are eager to learn and develop continuously

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills – you’re comfortable collaborating and presenting your ideas clearly

  • Fluency in Dutch and English (written and spoken)

Where and how you’ll work

Most of your work will take place at our Amsterdam office – a space designed to foster problem-solving, collaboration, and innovation, and simply put, where we build the future.
Discover more about its inspiring atmosphere here.

We’re aiming for a minimum of 16 hours per week – ideally, 24 hours spread across three days – so you can dive deep into your work and still keep your studies on track.

While the office is your main workspace, occasional work from home is possible in alignment with your team to support a healthy balance between work and study.

And yes – we also know how to have fun: with regular team events and Friday drinks to connect, celebrate our wins, and sometimes just kick off the weekend right.
